Grid-back Chair

The base board is made of plywood. We chose plywood over solid wood for a reason. Plywood is more stable. Solid wood can warp with changes in temperature and humidity. The layered structure of plywood resists warping. The shaping is also very precise. Each of the nine grid slots is formed with a mold. The sizes are exact. The arrangement is neat. The foam is high-density molded foam. It is not regular sliced foam. Molded foam is heat-pressed in a mold. It keeps its shape. It does not flatten out over time. The foam in each grid fits into its slot on the plywood base. It stays in place firmly. It does not shift. The leather wraps over each foam grid smoothly. The surface is flat and even. The leather is abrasion-resistant and stain-resistant. For daily cleaning, a damp cloth works well. In busy restaurants where staff wipe chairs several times a day, the leather stays clean and bright. These grid-back chairs are built for heavy use.

Our R&D team designed the molds and grid parameters ourselves. We tested them many times. We cut the plywood base, shape the grid slots, heat-press the foam, and sew and wrap the leather. Even though this chair uses a plywood base, we still weld the metal legs with care. The legs have anti-slip pads. They move quietly on floors.
